What is Beyond – God?

  • What is God?
  • God from a human view?
  • What is beyond God?
  • First level beyond God
  • Final level beyond God

What is the human view of God?

  • God is a word and a sound with a feeling of something to represent beyond our understanding.
  • It can also represent a being with a level of ability, or an experience of life relatively far above our own.

God from a native / tribal human view? God is born with power

  • Long time ago native and tribal peoples would see powers they respected, and/or didn’t understand and think it was a god:
  • They see a volcano, think there must be a consciousness or something / someone big behind it.
  • So the idea of God comes from fear.
  • Fire god, lightning god, tornado god, volcano god. Gods of the sea and the forest. Basically the four elements – Earth, Water, Fire, Wind all become Gods when the power of nature becomes extreme.
  • Gods for them have a natural power, those gods were born with that power.
  • Gods also bring things necessary for survival – still from fear – gods of harvest, fertility, etc.

God from Greek / Roman ages? God is someone born with an ability

  • As human civilization develops their idea of God is born with a special ability.
  • Their gods can have babies with humans and create Demi-Gods. Chinese culture also has many stories of these – including Fu-Shi, the first emperor of China being the son of a human princess and a Dragon.
  • Anyone born with a special kind of ability is god-like
  • Many kinds of gods in many countries and cultures fit into this category.

God from a “One consciousness” view

  • This idea of God is an abstract oneness
  • God of all elements and all nature – Gaia
  • Collective God idea
  • Christian idea of an all-seeing, all-powerful God – often has a messenger to help communicate with humans
  • There is no ability you can develop to become God, but you can go to heaven.- no ability required to develop except loyalty and faith to go to heaven.

So what is beyond god?

First level beyond God – God from a Daoism View – God is about training

  • Breaking idea that god is not understandable, it is from training
  • Like the difference between an expert sportsperson and a beginner – the beginner cannot understand the expert.
  • Daoism system teach you how to become god
  • Daoism also explains that gods have to learn as well
  • There are many levels of Gods – 28 levels – each level is a separate space, a different dimension of universe
  • Each dimension needs an ability to train to travel there
  • They teach and write down the system to go into it
  • So through training you can go beyond God
  • So it is fair for everyone to train it, how hard you train is how hard you reach

Final level beyond God – God from Buddhism point of view – God is in reincarnation like humans

Quite a coincidence that both Daoism and Buddhism talk about 28 levels of Gods

But Buddhism explains in more details these levels

First 6 levels are called material desire energy god dimensions.

  • These beings can change energy to materials and materials to energy. Using this force for their own desire is the main subject. They are trapped by this power and can’t change desire power to a higher level.
  • Levels 7 – 24 are the second zone, the pure energy zone. These gods do not have/need a material body. Human planet has very little contact with these Gods because out sense are not able to detect them. From a God’s point of view, coming to Earth would be like an adult going to Kindergarten and saying “Look how big and strong I am..” No point.
  • Levels 25 – 28 are called Empty Abstract Being Gods. These gods take space as their body, so can be as large as many universes. Their ability is the most empty of all the gods, so therefore so is their energy and also their ego is the largest. These gods have no-body to connect and share. Imagine you are the size of the universe, immeasurable power, but no one could know? You can only watch others live. Eventually the seed of loneliness will cause them to seek rebirth back in other realms in reincarnation again.
  • Siddhartha Buddha studied the 8 levels of Meditation with the Samanas. Which was found in many cultures 2000 years ago
  • And these 8 levels (first 4 are warm-up and last 4 are the levels of Zen to see / connect and travel to these dimensions to learn from these beings.)
  • The head of the Samanas asked Siddaratha to become their leader. Although he enjoyed the incredible joy of the meditation experiences and travelling to other dimensions, he explained to the high priest, no, because this was not the final level.
  • Siddhartha Buddha started to teach the 9th Level of Meditation, called Sky Empty.
  • This means truly awakened consciousness will understand that whatever you call “I” is a trick. No matter how high-level a God you are, ego is an illusion.
  • Because it comes from conditions and causations from others.
  • Like a house is created with wood, metal, and ceramic and stone. Together is a house, but those individual pieces are not a house.
  • Before, all of those pieces were separate and empty, and when the house is gone, it will return to empty. So between empty and empty is empty.
  • Life is like this, we come from nothing, experience many things, but back to nothing – nothing individual there – this idea about the individual ego is an illusion.
  • Buddhist philosophy sees God as another, e.g., another consciousness trapped by their own limited view of life. Because life keeps changing, their view is limited and their wisdom is also limited, they will experience suffering and eventually die. This constant rebirth is called reincarnation.
  • Instead of understanding life is illusion and illusion is empty – see the true essence, function and goal of life. Free from any ego, but able to enjoy to play every ego.
