First step
- Wait for a time when you feel calm, and pure. Often this is early in the morning.
- Purify yourself: shower; don’t eat meat, garlic, or caffeine; brush your teeth.
- Practice no searching heart to become calm and pure
- Have a calm heart. Don’t be anxious, desirous, or try to force it.
- Develop Sincere heart
- to want to see, not a stressful, searching heart to see.
- Searching heart has a strong desire; it uses your mental power too much. If you try to imagine what Buddha looks like, you won’t be able to.
Second step
- Observe which Buddha you want to see and bow to that Buddha.
- Use your sincere heart to bow to the Buddha
- Open your respectful heart.
Third step
- Have a deep understanding and following heart (open deep heart).
- Use your respectful heart to observe that Buddha’s philosophy until you feel that becomes a deep understanding. Immediately you will open your heart to follow that philosophy.
