Even if you have just one second of spiritual karma and bow sincerely to him. That will be enough cause for him to protect you, to be out of bad karma and guide you into any spiritual will or pure land karma.

Dharma ending these two are the best systems. Foundation out of Hell karma is Hell Bodhisattva system. Direction and goal of easiest and fastest to reach Bodhisattva level is Amitabha Buddha system.
