Blindness

Blindness

The blind man elephant example, is used to show that truth is only the truth when it is complete. If you have one or two parts of many, you will never get the complete truth, only one side of it. So this is why when we analyse we need to analyse from many different angles to ensure that our calculation is 3D and gets the complete picture. If you analyse from one angle or view life from one angle your understanding of life will be one dimensional, giving you an incomplete picture which in turn will lead to blindness.

Analysing a situation with any personal ‘Ego’ view, will most likely, only lead to an incorrect evaluation and conclusion. In order to gain a complete understating of what is happening in the life situation, we must separate this personal view from the situation and see it for what it truly is. Although personal will still always be involved (who is analysing otherwise?), it is the bad habits that make us judge based on desire, emotion etc. that needs to be separated.
