Tai Chi High Level – Steam Hand

Tai Chi Cloud Hand

Summary:

  1. First Ability – Procedure (Practice until this is natural ability.)
    1. All the things you know feel them, not think about them.
    2. Power from foot spring point, transition to centre but not straight up, curve up to centre, rotation style, but doesn’t have to twist. Twist take longer but create more power.
      1. (Straight is stiff.) Practice this until it is naturally in your heart. Not do for one second and then pat your self on the back.
      2. Concentrate the feeling always from foot to centre and up each move. When you see a cloud, a wave, steam or smoke you have a different feeling right? Great, that is subconsciousness. Use that to feel the power from foot curved up to centre, out to hands and out fingers.
      3. When you hurry, you create a straight move instead of curve, that create tense and stiff.Into the pose your leg is stretching and the stretching is curved.
    3. When you continue stretching the legs that curves into hand as well.
    4. Puma stomach, balloon chest to whole body, laser line up to 7th chakra and out to fingers stretching silk worm line, whole body move like nature, one-piece
  2. Be aware of the procedure in this way :
    1. Be aware of the procedure with no-I.
      1. Example: Seanpig, your style to use I, want people look at you, somehow creates concentration where you go into no-I. You want to do your best and then you into no-I again.
      2. Don’t think about other people look at you, don’t think at all.
      3. When you come out of it, don’t panic, check where you have tense and relax it. That’s why these two are related together, muscle power and I.
    2. Be aware of the procedure with no physical power.
      1. When you do it, don’t try to use physical power.
      2. This needs a relaxed concentrated feeling to be aware of it and keep releasing it. Can be slow or fast but no hurry or fake-slow.
      3. Example: When Sean Free had back pain he did perfect Tai Chi, he dare not create use muscle power, only energy.
    3. Be aware of the procedure using nature as your teacher. Nature is our true master of Tai Chi.
      1. Nature already has no I. So when I’m aware of nature I can also be free of my I. Imagine you are part of that nature. No I, no tension. This is the first ‘feeling memory.’
      2. Then I can be closer to the kind of lightness like steam, smoke, cloud, wind power, hair floating in the air.
      3. Use memory feeling of nature to create the moves (not mental thinking.)
      4. This is a meditation zone, closer to steam hand.
      5. Example: Don’t say to yourself I’m going to try to be light. Instead, be aware of nature feeling into it. Use soft, light, abstract nature you already are aware of to connect to them as your teacher. Use that feeling to curve the energy up.
    4. Check your intention ‘why you want to learn this?” This will help you to learn in a better way.

I understand my magical moments doing Tai Chi  by analysing and observing – that’s why Heart Sutra says “Observing Self Being.”

Mostly we are just observing a lot of things for our ego in a blind, moody way, with a blindly-built character – so I’m not talking that kind of observing of course. Observing in a pure way, aware situation from memory. Not put an I in like I want to get this or that. When you have I want to reach something you are already not in a pure observation position.

Because you don’t really want to know something, you want to get something. And when you want to get something, you are not trying to be aware of that something. Wrong setup, wrong seeds.

Sifu has a lot of these pure observation seeds, and practices with them a lot.

You can’t use impure, personal blind observation with perfect philosophy because the philosophy is pure and has no personal. That is why it is perfect.

For some reason my subconscious won’t let me use those powers I have for wrong purpose, greed, become famous. Only to find right people ready to learn and help them awaken.

Of course that doesn’t make my own ego that happy! When I want to get something this way I get nothing as well!

But my subconscious ability is there time to time help me observe even when I’m not trying to observe something.

Steam hands, is a magical feeling. When I’m into in, gravity seems not to apply to me anymore, no more stiffness, free from boundaries, power can rise to a crazy speed.

Who has seen steam hands?

There is a shortcut, but there is no lazy cut. Steam hand come from deep awareness, not blindness, united brain, sub and hidden consciousness. How are they united?

All the things you know, feel them not think about them.

Q&A

Question: Tiger Pose – it looks straight, how do you use a twist?

Answer: The way you go into it is curved already. Memory of the energy will follow that. Into the pose your leg is stretching and the stretching is curved. When you continue stretching that curves into hand as well.

Question: Is that the same as silk worm line?

Answer: It is different, but you will pass through silk worm line to learn it. They are a series. Once you understand steam hand, then silk worm net, then you will understand emptiness, then you can understand how to control energy, your body can do magic, become see through, shoot lights.

Question: Sifu, what is your intention to learn steam hand?

Answer: I don’t have intention to learn it. I love nature, nature is magic to me, I think nature is incredible. Because of this I’m often observing nature without any I. Because I’m aware of it without I, when I read the philosophy suddenly I understand it so deeply. Because those philosophies anyway are trying to teach you nature, yin and yang, four elements – it’s trying to teach you how energy works.in philosophy terms. Nature is magic, that is why feel nature is already joyful. That’s why I like mountains. Mountains I can see four elements at once. Ocean, too much water, not enough green. Mountain has cloud effect and green. Four elements together, rivers and streams. I enjoy in nature seeing the animals, see how they move. So if you want to ask me what is my intention? I would say I’m astonished by the force of life. Because I’m astonished I’m continue observing them without having to try to concentrate. Joyfully aware of them and that is how I absorb it.

Question: Sifu, what is your intention to teach it?

Answer: If your level gets higher then I think you will enjoy the discipline to get higher and enjoy develop more, to improve. You’re appreciation heart for that will get higher. Then you will understand the value of it. I value my Tai Chi ability more than anything on the earth, earth not even eternal anyway. People who value the earth kind of link mentally-retarded / kindergarten-level for my level. It’s a joke. I often say that Tai Chi is a bridge, but I know most of you don’t understand it. If you don’t understand Tai Chi philosophy then you won’t understand Buddhism philosophy either. When you are out of your body you will realise and feel ashamed and it will be too late. Because if you think you respect Buddhism and you can’t even respect Tai Chi, then that’s a joke. If you have a bridge to learn something amazing as Buddhism philosophy and you don’t care for it, how sincere are you to learn Buddhism? Buddhism is hard to understand, become mental, but Tai Chi os no mental. So once you reach Tai Chi you will respect Buddhism another level. You will become more humble to realise you are far away from reaching Buddhism. So my intention is help you respect this philosophy and bring you closer to respect Buddhism for your heart.
