Buddha Smile Meditation Technique
There is one basic meditation technique with its origins from the teachings of Sidartha Buddha that is very effective for creating the tension free life.
Everything that Siddartha Buddha taught was to help you release suffering and the techniques although appearing 2500 years ago on the earth can be implemented today.
This technique has evolved through boddhidharma and shaolin martial arts.
This technique is simply called the
“Buddha Smile Technique”
The Buddha smile technique has been described as the wisdom of an old man with the innocence of a young child.
How it works ?
Your nervous system and bodies hormones are directly influenced by your facial expression.
If you smile or experience laughter then endorphins are released into your system. This in turn reduces stress levels and allows your body to effectively heal itself.
The opposite is also true. If u scowl or have a downturned face…
How to test it?
This will only take one moment.
Give yourself a mean scowl or a downturned smile. Walk around for a few minutes. After a short while you will observe your thinking will become negative, your body will grow tense and life will feel over bearing.
Now do the opposite…
Do your best to create this feeling.
You have the wisdom to see life clearly with deep observation.
You have the heart of a young child, innocent and full of life.
Turn the outside of your lips slightly up. Relax your facial expression. Feel this feeling sink onto you centre line. Onto your heart and down into your dan tian.
Turn on your pelvic floor and lengthen your centre line.
Take a deep relaxed breath in and relax your shoulders
Practice at any moment of life and enjoy the experience. Appreciate you have the chance to develop this amazing technique.
It will help you reduce stress and live a tension free life.
